All our fabrics are approx. 132cm wide, with our crewel being embroidered over approx. 124cm of the width.LENGTH
All our embroidered fabrics come in approx. 24m lengths. If you require more than 24m, please ask your curtain maker to calculate piece sizes appropriate to the curtain drop required i.e. 24m + 6m = 30m.COLOURS AND PATTERN REPEATS
Being entirely hand-made, shades of some colours and pattern repeats may vary from batch to batch and we usually have more than one batch of a particular design in stock at one time. These variations will not usually affect the overall look of the fabric, however, we recommend that you check the pattern repeat and request a stock cutting before ordering. Please note that all our coloured fabrics are made using natural dyes and may fade in direct sunlight.SUITABILITY FOR CURTAINS AND UPHOLSTERY
Our fabric passes the Cigarette Test as specified in the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 and, being 100% wool on a 100% cotton handloom background, it is exempt from the Match Test. However, when employed for upholstery purposes, it should be used with a Schedule 3 Interliner. We can recommend professional companies with experience of our fabric for stainproofing and flameproofing if necessary.CLEANING
We recommend dry cleaning for all our fabrics.STOCK
We aim to have fabrics in stock at all times, however, it is hand produced and can take up to 6 months to arrive after our ordering it.
